Cotton Bowl Foundation Hands Out Inaugural Community Champion Awards to 2023-24 Grants Recipients

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cotton Bowl Foundation and Cotton Bowl Athletic Association recognized its 2023-24 grants recipients with presentations of the inaugural Community Champion Award to HOPE Tutoring Center, Big Thought, Communities in Schools of Greater Tarrant County, Communities in Schools of the Dallas Region, AT LAST! and Girls Inc. of Tarrant County.

The Cotton Bowl Foundation Community Champion Award was created in a similar style as the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic's J. Curtis Sanford (Offensive Most Valuable Player) and Felix R. McKnight (Defensive Most Valuable Player) trophies.

CBAA staff, Board of Directors, Council and Cotton Bowl Foundation Board of Directors members traveled around the Dallas-Fort Worth area throughout the month of February to make the presentations and learn more about the great work that these nonprofits are doing to positively impact children and families in communities across North Texas and beyond.
