DALLAS – The Cotton Bowl Foundation capped off the 2024
North Texas Giving Day campaign with a bang. Well, a second surprise for
AT LAST!.
On the day of the largest community-wide giving event in the nation, the Cotton Bowl Foundation surprised AT LAST! with a check for $25,000, amplifying its initial donation of $10,000 that was unveiled on the
North Texas Giving Day kickoff on WFAA-TV's Daybreak on Aug. 23 at AT&T Stadium.
Cotton Bowl Athletic Association Chief Marketing Officer Michael Konradi, Vice President of Communications Scottie Rodgers and CBAA Fred McClure Interns Kayla Beasley and Ashleigh Anne Binz were presented the check to AT LAST! Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Randy Bowman at the organization's facility in the South Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas.
The money donated by the Cotton Bowl Foundation allowed AT LAST! to nearly triple its giving goal for this year's North Texas Giving Day.
"Receiving this type of money is going to allow us to continue to create opportunities for good, tangible results for our kids," said Bowman. "It's the tangible, measurable results that's what the AT LAST! team knows we show here to create."
The Cotton Bowl Foundation has been an active participant and supporter of North Texas Giving Days since its inception in 2016. Since 2016, the Foundation has awarded more than $3 million in grants and financial support benefiting nonprofit organizations in the surrounding communities.
