ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cotton Bowl Foundation and Cotton Bowl Athletic Association recognized its 2024-25 grants recipients with presentations of the inaugural Community Champion Award to
All Stars Project of Dallas,
Wesley-Rankin Community Center,
AT LAST!,
T.R. Hoover Community Development Corporation,
Metro Sports Fieldhouse,
Distinctly His Ministries,
Heart House,
Teen Life and
Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation.
The Cotton Bowl Foundation Community Champion Award was created in a similar style as the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic's J. Curtis Sanford (Offensive Most Valuable Player) and Felix R. McKnight (Defensive Most Valuable Player) trophies.
CBAA staff, Board of Directors, Council and Cotton Bowl Foundation Board of Directors members traveled around the Dallas-Fort Worth area throughout April and May to make the presentations for the second straight year and learn more about the great work that these nonprofits are doing to positively impact children and families in communities across North Texas and beyond.
